Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Good Shepherd
This content is provided to help your family continue the conversations at home that begin at church.

High School

This Sunday we will continue our conversation about whether or not belief in God is rational given the world around us. Are there any arguments to be made, positively or negatively about the existence of God that do not appeal specifically to Scripture?  We will then seek to answer the questions about what it means to have a worldview. This will help prepare us to look at some of the basic tenets of Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and Christianity.

Talk About It
  1. How prepared are we to speak with friends and neighbors who come from different religions or no religion at all?
  2. Why is it important to have a knowledge of other ideas that might be different than mine?
  3. Is Christianity really about us being right and them being wrong?  How does jesus (his life, teachings and mission) really answer our life's deepest longings?
