Preteen (grades 4-5)
This week your child will make sandwiches with his/her class.  The sandwiches will be served at Catholic Community Services to feed the hungry and the homeless.

Together as a family read:  Psalm 118:24, Matthew 4:17 and Matthew 26:18. 

Talk about it:

• God gives us the gift of time.  We should use it wisely to honor Him.
• Ask, "how is making sandwiches for others a good way to wisely use our time?" 
• What are some other ways we can wisely use our time to serve others?
