This week your child will learn principles from the book of Proverbs and discuss how to make wise choices.

Talk about it:
Ask:

• Proverbs is the  __________ book of the Bible. (20th)
• What is a proverb?  (A proverb is a short saying, stating a general truth or a piece of advice.)
• Proverbs are principles not promises.  This Sunday children will look t several principles we learn from Proverbs.  As your child to tell you about a principle that stood out to them during their discussion in class.
• Proverbs is a book of wisdom.  What is the difference between making a smart choice and a wise choice?  (Smart means having a lot of knowledge and being able to solve problems in subjects like math, geography or science.  Being wise means knowing how to make good choices in life.)
• How will you make wise choices this week?
