Third Grade
This week your child will learn about the fruit of the Spirit, and that they are sanctified through Jesus.

Talk about it:

• What does sanctification mean? (God wants to save us from the "power of sin" by helping us become more like Jesus!)
• Galatians 5:22-23 says that the fruit of the spirit is: love, joy peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Let's memorize that verse and say it together this week.
• How will you display the fruit of the spirit this week?
• One way we grow to be like Jesus is through spiritual disciplines. What are a few of those spiritual disciplines?  (Prayer, Reading God's Word, Giving Things Up).
• Is there a spiritual discipline you'd like to try this week?
