Key Scriptures to read together as a family: Matthew 7:7-11; Luke 18:1-7; Ephesians 6:18-20
Talk about it:
- Discover someone in the Bible who prayed for the same thing more than once, and name what they prayed for. (Jesus prayed that his cup of suffering would be taken from hin in Mark 14; Nehemiah prayed for the people of Israel in Nehemiah1.)
- Find 2 chapters in the book of Psalms where David prayed for God to protect him. (Psalm 86; Psalm 59).
- Find out something each person in your family has prayed for more than once.
- Pray together as a family.
